BEST curry iv had in England!!!! Seriously... great food! Pitstone is small and therefore Take-aways are minimal and Haldi absolutely stands out in the crowd of dull, tasteless restaurants! England doesn't offer the greatest takeaway options in terms of pure flavour and wholesomeness but let me tell you - HALDI is at the Top of their game! Delicious, Wholesome, Flavourful!! Definitely the place to go for a warm cosy luscious meal on a cold night.

Don't order delivery unless you're happy to wait a couple of hours. Used to love our Haldi takeaways but delivery has really gone downhill in 2023 - had two orders in a row arrive over half an hour late and 2 hours from when the order was made. If you're in the Tring area, order from Pheriwala instead. Much more reliable and slightly cheaper too!

By far the best provider of quality Indian cuisine in the area. Never fails to deliver on flavour, service and value. I highly recommend…

Takeaway came within half an hour which was great however there was just no flavour to anything. Chicken was dry, and not enough sauce with the curry. Would try it again to see if this was a one off as all posts have said how great it is however probably not in a rush.

Visited 6 years ago and food was outstanding. Again on the second visit yesterday, the food was superb. The staff are pleasant and courteous, the surroundings were clean and tidy. We had the taster menu which was all lovely, excellent value and more than enough for us both. The beers were served ice cold and in clean glasses. We'll definitely be back but we'll not leave it as long next time!

I've enjoyed Indian food at countless takeaways & restaurants over the years, and have to say, this is one of the best in this area. It used to be The Bell pub, and although having a contemporary interior, retains some of it's village character and cosy feel, but not so much as to feel cramped. Service can be slow at times, so definitely worth booking or ordering in advance, but it's well worth the wait, they offer a good selection of authentic Indian cuisine, which I've always found to be good quality, well cooked, and very tasty. I've been using the Haldi since it's beginnings, and although very much a treat we have now & again, rather than every week, it's now become my Indian takeaway of choice. Overall, foods great, prices are reasonable considering quality, and staff excellent.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming despite having a 2.5year old and newborn baby with us. They were extremely patient with our son even when he dropped his laden fork twice on the floor within two minutes and assured us both times it wasn't a problem. They were quick to get him clean cutlery too. The food was oust an ding in taste and there was plenty to go round too. Highly recommended this restaurant for both hospitality and quality of food. Will be eating here again in future
